Terms of Service
The rules that govern access to the Sub website, workspace application flow, and school-facing substitution platform.
Using the service
By accessing or using Sub, you agree to these Terms. If you use the service on behalf of a school, district, or other organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.
Accounts and access
- You must provide accurate information and keep login credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account, except to the extent caused by our own failure to secure the service.
- We may suspend or restrict access where needed to protect the service, enforce these Terms, or address suspected misuse.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the service to break the law, violate the rights of others, or interfere with school operations.
- Do not attempt to access data, accounts, or systems you are not authorized to use.
- Do not reverse engineer, probe, scrape at scale, introduce malicious code, or try to bypass product limits or security controls.
- Do not upload unlawful, infringing, abusive, or harmful content.
Customer data
You retain your rights in the information that you or your organization submit to Sub. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, transmit, back up, and display that information to provide the service to you and your organization.
Availability and changes
We may update features, pricing, infrastructure, and workflows over time. We aim to provide a reliable service, but uptime is not guaranteed unless separately agreed in writing.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Sub is provided on an as-is and as-available basis except as expressly stated in a written agreement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, or data.
Our total liability under these Terms will not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred United States dollars if no fees were paid, to the extent permitted by law.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, security risk, non-payment, or legal necessity. Provisions that should survive termination, including payment, confidentiality, limitations, and dispute terms, survive.
